In light of COVID-19, selling your home will be different than it was before. However, one thing remains - your home has to be clean… And we have some tips to help. COVID-19 first made its appearance in the US in February 2020 . The nation slowly initiated stay-at-home orders and closed down non-essential businesses in an effort to “flatten the curve.” In many states, real estate is considered an essential business, and rightly so. After all, people are always in need of housing, and your friendly neighborhood real estate agent can certainly help you list your home or buy a home.  If you’re going to put your house up for sale during the pandemic, you need to make sure it's clean and disinfected — not just for your safety, but for anyone who comes inside. We have some useful tips that’ll help make sure your home is clean and safe for people to enter.  1. Clean regularly A clean home is a happy (and healthy) home. State Of The Real Estate Market In Eastern Pennsylvania

As many of you know, I am a Realtor who lives in Bucks County Pennsylvania. I represent buyers and sellers and handle clients in Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Lehigh, Northampton, Berks, Chester and Delaware counties. Even though that is a big territory to a lot of realtors, with as organized as I am, and with my support staff, I am able to maximize my time in each location and I am often able to serve more than one clients needs at a time. That being said there are a lot of similarities that all of these counties share, most importantly that the Real Estate Market is Very Strong. Location is always important but for many homebuyers who are now able to work from home and with the internet connecting rural Americans to big cities, the biggest factors facing many buyers is Quality of life, and how much can they get for their buck. Homes that are in clean safe locations with good scho...

Persistence And Patience Can Be Your Best Friends

It took Thomas Edison 10,000 attempts before he had made a light bulb that finally worked the way he wanted it to. When asked about all of his failures he said "I have not failed. I just figured out 9,999 ways that do not work." Michael Jordan is considered by many to be the greatest basketball player of all time, yet he missed the hoop over 9,000 times including 26 that would have been game winners. Jordan also lost over 300 games, which is more games than many players get to play in the NBA. Instead of focusing on these failures he used them to motivate him to do better. Persistence is something that does pay off in Real Estate like it does in many other fields. Real Estate is not easy or everyone would be doing it, one of the problems is that too many people "try" at it and never get better. I've learned a lot from having had deals fall apart, many times because of no fault of my own or my clients, sometimes stuff just happens. An appraisal may not get the ...

Buyers Tip #1 - Get Prequalified

I would be Mrs. Captain Obvious if I repeated the fact that buying a house is a major financial decision. Because of that no one should go into it without doing their homework. One of the most important things a realtor can do for their client is to get them the information and opinion that helps them come to a decision. If a deal has everything you want at the price, that's great. Go for it. If it's got some of what you want and it's more than you want to pay, you may need to keep looking. The good news is that if you're at this stage of the game where at least you know what you think you want, you need to do yourself (and your realtor) a solid and get prequalified for your mortgage loan. If you don't know where to go then sometimes your realtor can help with that too. It helps everyone out having a good mortgage broker at the table so many seasoned real estate veterans will have at least a few "go to" realtors that they don't mind giving the referr...
